My strong connection to music was developed early in life through a bit of family tradition, very encouraging parents, and many inspiring and influential teachers to whom I credit so much of my success.

Whether it was the ensemble in public school, the regional student big bands, the undergrad music conservatory at Purchase, or my Masters in Woodwind Performance, it was my teachers who kept the passion for music alive and encouraged my evolution into the musician I am today.

Teaching music is one my greatest honors - passing the legacy of music to all those who wish to pursue it.
